Party week

Party week monday will be having a multicultural themed party day, we will of course be celebrating the football and playing lots. We will have multicultural dancing and make instruments. Each day we will have parachute play and water play in the afternoons- so please bring spare clothes. Party snack will be provided and so we only ask for a small lunch. Heat

Today the heat got very uncomfortable in the afternoon, reaching 33 degrees in the hall. My sincere apologies for the short notice, however as tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter we have decided to close at 2pm for tomorrow and Friday. Currently the weather does not look as hot next week, however we will assess again Friday and inform parents straight away to give notice for the full week ahead. Spots

We have had 1 confirmed case of chicken pox and 1 confirmed case of hand foot and mouth. If your child has blister like spots over the body or on hands and feet, also ulcers on the mouth, please do not bring your child to school until they are getting no more spots, they are all scabbed over and dried and starting to shrink and go. Trips out

Last week we had a few days of trips in groups to Hall Place to see the Butterflies and a full sensory experience at the Farm. The children loved the trips out. We did lots of walking, learnt how to keep safe by the roads and even had some rides on the bus. We had lots of amazing helpers, and even though we did have rain on one day, we all had lots of fun. Thank you to our wonderful parents and carers that made it all possible.
